Fit-First Recommendations
We compare .NET MAUI with Flutter, React Native and native development against your users and team, and we recommend the best fit even when it is not MAUI.
Ludych builds cross-platform apps with .NET MAUI for businesses that want to reach mobile and desktop users from a shared .NET codebase. We help you decide whether MAUI fits, then design, build, test and maintain the app.
.NET MAUI is Microsoft's framework for building apps for Android, iOS, Windows and macOS from one project. It is the successor to Xamarin.Forms, a framework Ludych also works with. Our job is to match the framework to your project. We compare .NET MAUI with Flutter, React Native and native development, then build, integrate, test and support the app you choose. Some features always need platform-specific code, so we plan for shared code as a goal, not a guarantee.
We build with .NET MAUI where it fits, and we say so when another approach would serve you better.
We build apps from one shared project for the platforms in your scope, after a discovery phase that confirms users, features and integrations. Platform-specific parts are handled where the app needs them.
If your app is built on Xamarin.Forms, we review its architecture and dependencies, then recommend whether to migrate in stages, update selectively or rebuild. Scope and risks are agreed before work starts.
We test on the devices and operating system versions agreed in scope, with functional, usability and performance checks, plus automated tests where they pay off. Security testing is scoped with you.
If your users work on Windows or macOS, we can build a desktop app on its own or alongside a mobile app. We confirm the desktop platforms in scope before design begins.
After release, we can support the app with bug fixes, operating system and dependency updates, and new features. Support scope is agreed with you in writing.
Our designers shape interfaces that follow platform conventions, such as Material Design on Android and Apple Human Interface Guidelines on iOS. You review screens before build begins.
As a leading .NET MAUI app development company, we have been helping our clients to digitize their business with .NET MAUI application development.
From internal tools to customer apps, we use .NET MAUI where a shared codebase helps and agree the scope with you first.

.NET MAUI suits some projects better than others. These are the points we weigh with you before recommending it.
A shared interface layer helps keep screens and branding consistent across phones, tablets and desktops, with adjustments for each screen size.
.NET MAUI uses a single project structure for Android, iOS, Windows and macOS, which can simplify how a team organizes and releases the app.
.NET MAUI includes drawing and animation features for custom visuals. We use them where they help users and keep standard controls where they are enough.
Teams that already work in .NET can reuse skills and libraries. We review what your developers know before we recommend MAUI.
Business logic, data access and much of the interface can be shared. Features tied to a device or operating system usually need platform code, so we estimate that work separately.
An app can call web APIs and cloud services, including those on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, so it works with the systems you already run.
A full-stack agency that handles design, engineering, integration, testing and support in one team.
Add developers to your own product team or have Ludych build the app end to end. Team structure and terms are agreed for each engagement.
Screens designed around how your users work on each device.
Readable code and review practices that keep the app easy to extend.
Steady progress reports and open discussion of issues.
.NET MAUI, short for .NET Multi-platform App UI, is Microsoft's framework for building Android, iOS, Windows and macOS apps from one project. It succeeds Xamarin.Forms and brings the app into a single project structure. Microsoft has ended support for Xamarin, so older Xamarin apps eventually need a plan.
Common examples are business apps, field and workforce tools, internal tools and customer apps for mobile and desktop. We confirm the platforms, features and integrations during scoping and recommend another framework if it suits the project better.
We can review your app and recommend whether to migrate in stages, update selectively or rebuild. How much existing code carries over depends on the app's libraries and platform-specific features, so we give you a scoped plan before any work starts.
Security depends on how the app is designed and built, not on the framework alone. We plan secure sign-in, role-based access, encrypted connections and secure local storage, and we define the specific requirements with you during scoping.
Timing depends on scope, number of features, integrations, platforms and team size. Share your requirements and we will scope the work with you. Store review by Apple and Google also affects release dates.
Ludych offers support and maintenance as a separate workstream. Scope is agreed with you and can include bug fixes, operating system updates, dependency updates and enhancements.
Ownership of code, designs and other deliverables, and any confidentiality terms, are set out in the project agreement. We review those terms with you before work begins.
